Nut Farm
word nutritious begins with nut!
It is no wonder that the word nutritious begins with nut! So many studies have described the wonderful health benefits of nuts. And the boutique style of growing and processing nuts at Nuts About Wood ensures top taste and the best of health benefits. NO herbicides, fungicides or pesticides are used in the growing and production of the nuts. Walnuts are harvested in batches at their correct time of maturity and are slow/cool dried to preserve the integrity of the precious oils.

Located near the foot of Mt. Buffalo, in the beautiful Ovens Valley, the farm consists of Walnuts, Chestnuts, a few pecan trees, plus agroforestry.
Walnut varieties include Chandler, Franquette and Mayette. Walnuts are available from mid April onwards.
Chestnut varieties include the tasty De Coppi Marone, the large Asian style Red Spanish and the versatile Purton’s Pride and Buffalo Queen. Chestnuts are available through March to late April.
Please come and try the delicious, nutritious produce. Phone Geoff 0401 446054 or, if the sign and giant model walnut are in the paddock, just call in.
